Bescom men laying the 110 kv cable through a dedicated duct that has been constructed along the Shehsadri Road on Wednesday in Bangalore. This is the first such line being laid by the bescom in a dedicated duct. All major roads in the City are set to have these dedicated ducts where all utilities like electricity lines, optic fibre cables and telephone and TV cables will be laid after paying a fee to the BBMP. The ducts would help to avoid frequent digging by the civic authoriteis on 6th may 2009
